Flat panel TV Mount Install
The Process:
Scout the location.
Determine the placement of your television. This will need to be near a solid wood stud in the wall. Use a stud finder (
#22-9348
) to assist with this. Mark each available stud.
Television Side First.
Attach the brackets to the back of the television. If you use a power drill or driver, use the lowest torque setting.
Now for the wall side.
Align the wall bracket to match your stud markings. Make sure to run any cables through the wall before you mount the wall bracket. Recommended viewing height should be the same as the viewing eyelevel. Use a tilt or cantilever mount to achieve this for higher mounting.
The Mount!
Predrill and bolt the wall bracket to the wall with the included hardware. Use a level (
#22-4145
) to constantly check for level.
Now Hang It!
Have a friend help you lift and mount the television to the wall bracket. Engage any safety bars or locks after television is mounted.
Almost Done!
Connect your cables and enjoy your new TV!
